The Albazinskaya Theotokos, known as "Helper of Mothers" began her tour around the parishes of the New Jersey Syncellate on Wednesday, January 29, with devotions at St Michael's Cathedral. Bishop Kurt presided and many of the clergy of the Syncellate attended with their families. The faithful were invited to receive special blessings from all the priests in attendance after venerating the icon.
